Curlew roadbed

Now that the design for Curlew was finalized, it was time to get busy and lay some roadbed and track, starting from the end of the permanent main line.

Some adjustments were made on the fly to better fit in a team track, taking into account what was actually in that part of town, based on the Sanborn map. There wasn’t an actual track there, but there was room for one, and the corner was never really used for much.

Roadbed goes quickly, and then it’s on to the trackwork.
