The first train up the hill into Curlew, with a little help from four jumper leads to get around the unwired frogs.
There is still lots more track, wiring and switch machines to install, but it works!
Once all of the cork roadbed was in place, the track was installed using the normal latex caulk as a glue. The mainlines are Peco code 83, and some of the sidings and spurs are Shinohara code 70 from way back when.Continue reading “Curlew track and switches”
